About Christian

chris gambaBorn in Los Angeles, Christian was exposed to a lot of music as a child and was interested in making his own music. Beginning with guitar and drums, he went to play in a Jazz ensemble at Granada Hills Charter High School. While enrolled at GHCH,  his love of music was replaced with a love and fascination for sound.

Christian had an opportunity to learn live sound with his local church in Westlake Village called the Global Truth Center, and there he refined his craft with mixer and mentor Matthew Shane to learn about the ins and outs of the live sound world.

Producing music for a number of years he finally landed his first music composition in a film called “Home Sweet Home” and there he found his fascination for location sound during the pandemic and went on to be a boom operator with a few hollywood stars like Chuck Norris and Jason Butler Harner in films like “Agent Recon” & “The Anne Frank Gift Shop” to name a few.

While attending College of the Canyons for Sound Arts, Christian worked at Dream Magic Studios LA as an audio assistant by setting up and maintaining equipment for studio recording sessions and live broadcasting.

Shortly after, he went to move on to the next step in the sound biz and become a production sound mixer and continues to learn and make a name for himself in the industry while making the production as fun and professional as possible. Making sure the most crucial aspect, “the story,” is at the forefront of his mixing and boom operating career.
